Edward Scarborough was the only son of Uriah and Agnes Scarborough, and was the heir to the Barony of Bathurst. He died in 1810, leaving his cousin Nathaniel Scarborough as the heir to his father's title.
He was the cousin of Nathaniel Scarborough, Dorothea Darling (nee Scarborough), and Leonora Leith, nee Scarborough.
