Herald Court is the rather gauche over-the-top house created by Herbert Astor, the first Earl of Hopetoun. It is still the seat of the Earldom, the current Earl being a distant relation of characters Rosalind Fairmont, Jemima Fairmont, Marcus Fairmont and Katherine Winter.
