James Cole is the younger brother to the deceased Charles, Earl of Bramley and is paternal uncle to the current titleholder, Alfred Cole and his siblings Susannah, Milton, Ceecee and Charlie.
He and his wife have three young-adult children who are cousins to the Coles and the Sidneys: Clara, Arabella and James.
