Miranda Cordelia Rossington, born Lady Miranda Grafton, is the Dowager Duchess of Welby, and the widow of Theodore Rossington, the 6th Duke of Welby. She is the mother of Hugh Rossington and Daniel Rossington, and the grandmother of Madalene Rossington. She is a NPC created by Izzie.

Miranda Rossington is the younger sister of Thomas Grafton, Marquess of Raulings, and is the twin sister of Lady Francesca. Her twin married Mr. Barnaby Palmer, a local Leichestershire landowner, a match that Miranda never really understood. Miranda is the aunt of played characters Katharine Steele, Julianne Grafton and Jemima Palmer.

She is the widow of Theodore Rossington, and is the mother of Hugh Rossington and Daniel Rossington. She is grandmother to Madalene Rossington.
