Her Grace, Cassandra Gosling, Duchess of Leighton (born Cassandra Chichester) is the late wife of His Grace, Nicholas Gosling, the Duke of Leighton.
The couple were married in late 1807 but Cassie died in childbirth in 1809 and her child did not survive a day. A fluffly white cat, given to her by her husband as a kitten and named Seraphim, still roams Gosling House in London.
