Clifton Hall

Clifton Hall in Kent is the ancestral home of the Bentley family. The current hall was built by Sir Clarence Bentley in 1762. After Sir Roland Bentley's death in 1806 leaving only a daughter (Catherine Clare), the estate passed to a cousin, Sir David Pollington.
