Izzie, also known as Isabel, is a 4th year university student who is majoring in history. She spends 8 months of the year writing obscene amounts of essays, having minor panic attacks, and spouting off random historical information at the drop of a hat. Starting in September 2011, she will be attending graduate school for Museum Studies, and cannot wait to spend the next two years flouncing around museums and delving into secret archives.

When she's not at school, she's busy working at various historical attractions, and also has a habit of doing a lot of shopping. These shopping expeditions usually end up being told on c-box, along with complaining about how it takes her two days to laundry.

In addition to all of this, she is also the London Life's resident archivist. Since moving to the new board, she now has the entire old board to use as archives. Happiness ensued.

She shares a country with Emily and Hilary.

Characters

It is Izzie's great pleasure to have to look after this brood (and their respective families) at LL:

Juliet Landon

Charlotte Tolson and her brother, Edward Tolson

Daniel Rossington

Research Interests

Aside from the English Regency, Izzie dabbles in a variety of other historical eras, including:

Early Modern England (specifically the role Henry VIII's wives played in the course of the Henrician Reformation - this is my main area of research, and what my honours year is based on)

Italian Renaissance art and Papal pagentry

Pre-Revolutionary France (Louis XIV - Louis XVI)

Revolutionary America

The Raj, and the role of the East India Company in India
