This list was created by Lord Selwyn on Thursday 11th April 1811 in an attempt to help find him the perfect wife.

It was narrowed down on that day to the following ladies:

Lady Elizabeth was removed for being impertinent and annoying.
Miss Hutchinson and Miss Hampton were removed for not being of sufficiently good family.
Lady Imogen was removed for being sickly.
Lady Viola was removed for being a shrew and a spinster.

April 15th

After the Emerson Ball of the 14th April, Charity Pritchard was removed due to her revealing choice of dress.

April 19th

Lady Penelope Grove and Miss Palmer (pending good references) have been added to the list.
