Biography
Miranda grew up with an elder brother, a twin sister and a younger sister, ensuring that she was never alone in her life. While she may have resented her family's presence at times, she truly enjoyed being with her siblings. She was closest with her twin, Francesca, and they often spent their days lazing about Raulings Park, dreaming of what life would be like once they were married and had children. Miranda had always thought that she would perhaps marry an Earl or maybe a Marquess, while her sister seemed quite happy to marry a local landowner, a Mr. Barnaby Palmer, something Miranda would never understand. Following her debut, she attracted the attention of the Duke of Welby, and he proposed marriage to her at the beginning of her second season. It seemed that Miranda would achieve the fairytale life that she had always dreamed of, even if true love wasn't part of her marriage. She and her husband developed a cordial relationship following the birth of Hugh Rossington and Daniel Rossington, successfully securing the succession of the Welby title. Miranda was quite happy to spend time with her children, and as they grew older, she became very involved in society events, pushing herself to the forefront of society. Following her widowhood in 1805, she was happy to accept another member into her family, that of her daughter-in-law, Jane Rossington. Jane would only be a part of her family for 4 years, however, as she passed away in 1809 giving birth to her daughter, Madalene Rossington.
Present Day (1811)
Miranda currently resides at the Welby Estate, seat of the Dukedom of Welby, with her son Hugh Rossington and granddaughter Madalene Rossington. She does plan on traveling to London at some point in the Season to check on her son, Daniel Rossington and his quest to find a suitable wife. She will also want to visit her brother and nieces.
