James Bellwood

James Bellwood is a naval officer who wooed Caroline Gardiner in Bath during the summer of 1808 and gave everyone the impression they would marry. In the spring of 1809, however, his engagement to a London heiress was announced, surprising the entire Gardiner family. His current whereabouts and familial status are unknown.
