Narbett Hall
Completed in the late 16th century, Narbett Hall was originally known as Fitzhugh Park, owned by the wealthy Fitzhugh family, favorites of Queen Elizabeth I. The family soon fell onto hard times and their lovely Cornish country home became property of the Crown. In the mid-1700s, the house and surrounding property, which bordered land owned by the Lawrence family, was bestowed to said Lawrence family along with the title of Earl of Narbett.
