Piksie is a spaniel puppy belonging to Bee Rosdew. She is the littermate of Parsnip, and was given to Miss Rosdew by a flustered Peregrine Bexley, who in turn was given the puppies by his neighbor (and in-law) Henry Haverleigh, who breeds dogs for hunting. This particular litter is part-beagle, part-spaniel, and bred for hunting bird and other small game. Piksie herself is tricolor as a beagle might be, but her conformation is more spaniel-esque and she has freckles on her nose and paws.
By coincidence, years after joining the board and establishing Piksie's existence, Micaela acquired a rescue dog, part-beagle, part-spaniel, named Bee, who is now Piksie's future pb. So Micaela's character Bee has a dog named Piksie played by Micaela's dog, Bee, and time is a flat circle.
