Lavinia Astor Dillard was born circa 1720. Her brother was the father of Andrew Astor, making him her nephew. Lavinia married Theodore Dillard. Among their children was Henry Dillard, maternal grandfather of Ladies Katharine and Julianne Grafton. Thus, she is Kate and Julianne's great-grandmother and the great-great-aunt of Miss Katherine Winter, Lady Rosalind Fairmont, and Lord Foxford.
