Berenike
Berenike is a strawberry roan mare belonging to Honoria Bartram. While she is curious about other animals and will try to nose them if they do not appear threatening to her, she prefers flowers to other sentient creatures. It is an honour when she does not give one a dour look for nosing her in return, for it means she likes the person. She and Mr Turner the cat sometimes engage each other in friendly staring matches through the windows.

Dislikes: brazen pigeons that approach her, people who think she actually eats flowers
