Society for the Advancement of Science and Steam
The Society for the Advancement of Science and Steam does what it says on the tin! Its founder is Phineas Keats, the Earl of Beaconsfield and the inaugural lecture was held on Saturday the 18th May 1811 at Beaconsfield House. Those present at this inaugural meeting included:
