The Marquessate of Stratford is held by the Loring family. The Loring family has had strong traditional ties to France, so much so that the current Lord Stratford is both Marquess of Stratford as well as holding the French title of Marquis d'Alincourt, albeit through his wife, Clémence née d'Alicourt. Lord Stratford is the 8th holder of that title. The family has three children: Édouard (b. 1782), Earl of Denholme; Lord Alexandre (b. 1791); and Lady Madeleine (b. 1793).
Ties to other noble houses: Viscount Weymouth (through Lord Stratford's brother's daughter, Elizabeth Hadley neé Loring), Earl of Merseyside (through Lord Stratford's brother's daughter, Emily Lambert neé Loring).
The Marquessate of Stratford and the Loring family were created by Ariane.
