Betsy is one of the players on The London Life. She has been a member since May of 2009. She lives in Minnesota (which is in the extreme north-central part of the US), and is a teacher by degree, but currently works as a dorm mom in a boarding high school, which provides scads of amusing stories (ask her about the Night of the Poop - no, really, it's a good story).

Current Characters

Former Characters

  • Benedict DeLancey, the sly, cash-strapped heir to a barony who's looking for a rich, pretty wife whose dowry he can spend.
  • Emma DeLancey, Benedict's painfully shy cousin who is on the edge of spinsterhood and secretly a writer.
  • Felicity Staunton, the daughter of an impoverished viscount.
  • Louisa Westcott, a baroness from a middle-class background who dislikes her husband immensely.

Special Knowledge

Betsy knows way too much about the following areas:
Costuming/Clothing and Fashion History
Irish History
Etiquette
Dining and Food
Dance/The Ballroom
Governesses and Women's education
Research and using the internet to find awesome resources
