The Duchy of Wycombe was created by King Henry VIII for diplomatic efforts supporting the Treaty of Greenwich.

History

The Duchy was awarded by royal prerogative to Thomas Quinn upon conclusion of the Treaty of Greenwich. Quimby Hall was soon erected amongst the vast prime lands of Northamptonshire as the family seat and has remained thus since.
