The Marquessate of Selkrik is a hereditary title in the Peerage of Scotland held by the Halifax Family. The current Marquess is Alasdair Halifax. He was preceded by his father, George. The current heir is Harrison Halifax, the marquess's nephew.
The ancestral seat of the Marquesses of Selkrik is Ripplevale Grove, on the border.
The holder has the subsidiary title, Viscount Douglas.
