An hereditary title in the Peerage of Great Britain held by the Sayre family. The current Baron is Aubrey Sayre, 4th Baron Hunstanton. Their ancestral seat is Hunstanton Lodge in Somerset.
The family previously held the title of Earl of Hunstanton but due to their Catholic recusancy and for their involvement in the Prayer Book Rebellion the peerage was forfeited by Edward VI. The title Baron Hunstaton was created in 1681 after a public renouncement of the Catholic faith by the 1st Baron Hunstanton.
