An extinct hereditary title in the Peerage of Ireland held by the Prescott family. There was only one creation of the title. The last earl was Lewis Prescott, 8th Earl of Eyeries, father of Alice Agnew, Marchioness of Abingdon, and grandfather of played characters Louis and Pippa.
