Lady Georgiana is the indulged youngest daughter of the Earl of Wilcox, sister to the incumbent Lord Wilcox, The Hon. Mr Gideon Goodwin and Lady Harlow. Her mother, Lady Wilcox, was born Lady Anna Heathcote, making Georgiana one of the infamous Heathcote women.
Her particular chums are Baroness Darley (who, at school had been dear Miss Kitty Fletcher), Mrs Edward Eckford (who, at school, had been simply Miss Polly Brightmore). Her new friends are Miss Beverley and Lady Cassandra Cavendish
