Miss Lucilla Blakeney is the middle daughter of Lord and Lady Edgar Blakeney and the niece of the Marquess of Wadham and cousin of Lady Surrey. She, along with her slightly younger sister, Aurelia are debutantes in the 1811 season. Lucilla is prone to giggling and finds it hard to talk rationally to men. She enjoys dancing and playing the pianoforte tolerably.
