Once you've selected which type of infobox is best used for your character, enter the following information at the top of the page.

{infobox NAME

|field1 = information

|field2 = information

etc. }

But without an additional return between each line.

The NAME of the infobox may be found on the Create a Page page or on the individual template pages and is the word or string of words following Infobox. So to tell the wiki to load the template for a married lady's infobox, you would replace NAME with Married Lady. Capitalization does matter. Married lady is not the same as Married Lady or married lady.

To provide information to the wikipage, you need to replace field1, field2, etc. with the information the template is seeking. The field names may be found on the actual template page in between the triple brackets ({{{}}}). So for Married Lady, the field names include fullname, yodeb, and issue, among others. You must include something for each field. Hopefully at some point, I'll be able to figure out how to tell it not to display a row if you leave the information part blank. But for now, just type Not Applicable if the field is not applicable to your character.

Once you've filled out the infobox, you may type the rest of the page below it.
