Andrew Augustus Gosling was the 4th Duke of Leighton. He is the only son of the 3rd duke,Augustus Gosling, and Regan Gosling and sister to Helen and Augusta Gosling.
In 1780 he married Sophia Gosling and sired two sons, Nicholas, the current duke, and William. By all accounts it was not a happy marriage but the members were very adept at keeping out of one another's path.
