Andrew Fitzgerald, 7th Earl of Rotherham (1724-1789) married Lady Henrietta Montgomery, eldest daughter of the Marquess of Eastborough. They had two sons, Richard, the current Lord Rotherham and John Fitzgerald.
After Henrietta's death, he then married Miss Jane Derby in 1758. This union had three offspring, Maria, Anne and Andrew.
Andrew was responsible for the building of the current Rotherham Park and the improvement and modernisation of the estate.
