Mary Cruikshank is the 46-year old Countess of Coke, wife of the Earl of Coke and mother to three married daughters and a married son -- and proud grandmother to two . She is moderately intelligent. bright and always warmly and somewhat irreverently merry with everyone. She and her husband of thirty years remain happily married.
She was a close friend of Elise duBois, first wife of Andrew Gosling, the 4th Duke of Leighton -- and definitely not a fan of his flighty [[Sophia Gosling}second wife, Sophia]]. She and her husband are friends with, and like to think they keep a close eye on, the current duke Nicholas Gosling.
