Augusta Gosling was the second child of Augustus and Helen Gosling, Duke & Duchess of Leighton and sister to Andrew Gosling and Elinor Hackett

A rather wistful, romantic soul she 'fell in love' with a series of unsuitable men (poets, sailors, innkeepers) without ever speaking a word to any of them. She never wed.
