Amy, a resident of Virginia, USA, joined the board in June 2008. Since 2007, she has been in not-very-hot pursuit of a Ph.D in early American history from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. Her master's thesis on English country dance during the American Revolution borrowed heavily from the social observations of Jane Austen. On the London Life, she pens/types the characters of Susannah Hutchinson, Benjamin Hutchinson, Mary Tibbord, James Tibbord, Phillip Vaudrey and William Devenish. In addition to immersing herself in the Regency period, her hobbies include singing for a local big band, swing dancing, English country dancing, dress-making, eating ice cream, and attempting ambitious recipes in a lovely kitchen that is now entirely at her disposal since her June 19, 2010 marriage.
