Lord Gabriel Pritchard is the second son of the previous Marquess of Emerson, and younger brother to the current Marquess, Blake. He has recently returned from serving as a weapons specialist for the Crown's forces, advising Whitehall in that capacity while in Spain.
He is exceptionally close to his family, especially his younger sister, Elise Hampton, with whom he shares no blood ties. She was adopted by his parents when he was 11.
Returning home has been good for him. The years away, whether in active engagement at war, or simply in conference with military matters have given Gabe a kind of harshness he tries his best to keep at bay. Now surrounded by his family, Gabriel finds it easier, day by day, to go back to his previous life. Still, there are days where his violent temper might get the better of him, or the ghosts of war may still haunt his eyes.
Gabriel is usually jovial and easy-going, unless his protective ire is roused. When it comes to family, he is fiercely protective. More recently he has discovered a rather competitive streak, especially when it comes to Rosalind Fairmont, a friend from his childhood whom he loves, and is determined to marry.
