The tudor house at Applebrook

Apple Brook is the estate belonging to the Devenish baronetcy. It is the principal house in Rotherham in Yorkshire and it borders the estate of the Earls of Rotherham. The estate was much larger than it currently is, but the current baronet, Sir William was obliged to sell several acres of land and a couple of farms to Lord Rotherham in order to help pay of his father Sir John's debts.

Two farms set in 150 acres remain, with the house and an orchard. A stream runs through the orchard.

The current mansion was build by the first baronet, Sir Bartholomew Devenish between 1584 and 1586.

Applebrook is portrayed by Speke Hall.
