Charlotte Vickery is the German-born wife of Lord Saltash and the mother of Robert and Emma Vickery. Lady Saltash is a very determined woman with a flawless command of English which she speaks with only a slight accent. She is resolved to see all three of her surviving children married, and married well, as soon as possible.
